Eternity Collection
Art Deco was influenced by the modern art movements of Cubism, Futurism, and Constructivism; however, it also took some ideas from the ancient geometrical design styles, such as Egypt, Assyria and Persia. The designer employed the geometric concept which is a popular theme during Art Deco period; she had further developed them into a series of necklace and bangle. She used stepped forms, rounded corners and different shapes of gemstones to represent the windows and forms of the Chrysler Building.
Inspired by an evening shot of the Chrysler Building, the designer had carefully arranged the colour of the fancy sapphires to create the vibrant colour effect, aiming to bring the viewers and wearer into the world of colours and joy. Thus this series was named “The Eternity Collection”.
