Exotic Pace with Iridescent Grace
During ancient time, dragonfly is adopted as totem for protection and admiration purposes in the form of drawings or adornment.
The designer's creations are strongly motivated by a Chinese contemporary poem with reference to ‘dragonfly’ – “轻盈点水舞霓裳” (Exotic pace with iridescent grace.) It represents changes, new light and joy; symbolising good luck, prosperity, swiftness, purity, harmony and strength.
Enthralling moment to behold as she waltz on the water fold,
Light as veil, her fluttering wings flaunt finery.
She lulls into a stance upon a lotus pulp,
Thereafter leaps and skim over the water like a usual feat;
Exotic pace with iridescent grace.
